Kollakal Sree Porur Madam Devi Temple is one of the Devi Temples located in Muthukulam village of Alappuzha district. This is one of the temples where Adiparashakthi is worshiped in different forms. Although separate from the Kollakal temple complex, Porurmadam Devikshetra is located in the same temple complex facing north-west to east. By the name of the temple itself one can imagine the appearance of the goddess. Legend has it that `Porinu Ooraya Math` became Porur Madam.
